Üforia certainly seems to be a paradigm shift

I heard this comment which I have never heard before concerning a nutritional supplement, “This is not a new product, this is a paradigm shift.”

“Hmmm, ok, whatever,” I thought. I’ve seen and heard everything already, but my curiosity was piqued. So I said, “Tell me more.”

The paradigm shift involves a product called Üforia. It’s billed as a nutritional supplement “inspired by our DNA.”

DNA is certainly en vogue right now, commercially speaking. The scientific world has been tapping into DNA for years to solve crimes, but now the information contained in our DNA is available to us. We can discover our family history, connect with long lost relatives and most recently, understand aspects of our health.

There are companies out there that test your DNA and send you back a report detailing what your potential health issues could be based on your genetics. From there it’s up to you to act upon that information and adjust your diet and exercise strategies. Some companies, in addition to providing you your DNA report, will compile a regime of nutritional supplements and ship them off to you. Basically, they tell you what you need and send you a box of some third party’s supplements.

Instead of sending you somebody else’s nutritional products, Üforia has the technology and engineering to custom design your own formula, just for you.

It’s all based on single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). These are variations in our genes. It’s why one person has blonde hair and somebody else has red hair. Some SNPs aren’t just about benign physical appearance, they can create health issues for us. If we have a SNP in our Vitamin D receptor gene, for example, then we might not absorb enough vitamin D. We may be susceptible to osteoporosis, and therefore need to supplement more Vitamin D in our diet.

Üforia’s answer to the challenges that our SNPs create for us, is to take a person’s DNA sample, analyzes it for 18 SNPs and then put that information through proprietary software and manufacturing process that produces a one-of-a-kind formula specific to an individual.

CEO Ron Williams says, “This will be a disrupter to the industry. Up to this point all we have had is blind nutrition, it’s been a one-size-fits all approach: Here’s one supplement for everybody, maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t. Maybe you get the right amount of what you need. Maybe you don’t and have vitamin deficiency. Or maybe you get too much and have toxicity. It’s an expensive and wasteful guessing game.”

Üforia offers what Williams calls, “Designer Ütrition.” This is a one-of-a-kind unique formula for every individual, designed from the results of their DNA. “This is optimized and affordable,” says Williams.

When someone takes the Üforia approach, they first receive a DNA test and a 30-day supply of what Üforia calls, a Pretrition formula. This is considered a “mild and gentle” cleanse that prepares your body for your customized formula.  A person submits their DNA test, starts their Pretrition and after 2 to 4 weeks, receives their Ütrition formula. Üforia’s statistics say that based on the combination of 18 SNPs, there are almost 400 million different formula combinations, close enough to say that no two Ütrition formulas are the same.

It’s hard to argue that buying up bottles and boxes of various supplements is a better approach than having your own one-of-a-kind supplement. Or that the “As-Seen-On-TV” pitch carries more weight than “As Programmed Within Your DNA.”

Üforia certainly seems to be not just another new product, but indeed a paradigm shift. To get your own customized Ütrition go to DNAAuthority.com
