Over the course of the last 30 years, Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi went from being a small business owner in Maringa to operating one of the largest construction companies in Brazil. It all started with a dream and a small business venture in the early 1990s.
Since then, he’s improved the quality of life for countless civilians, empowered communities, rebuilt infrastructure, and served in prominent roles within the Brazilian government.
The Young Bank Clerk In Maringa
Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi was heavily influenced by his grandfather’s legacy as a child. His grandfather, Seu Domingos, was also focused on creating new businesses and improving society. Domingos started the first public marketplace in the Paranavai region and the first ice cream parlor.
Moving to Maringa as a young adult jump-started Arnadli’s career and helped him surpass most of his peers. The city was bustling, and Banco Bradesco was the fuel behind it. It is one of Brazil’s largest private sector banks to this day. When a clerk position opened, Arnaldi didn’t hesitate to take the job.
He started his first small business with two friends after saving up for several years while working at the bank. He was in his mid-twenties, and ready to settle down with his longtime fiancee. The company subcontracted cement management technology for larger construction projects, and everything was going smoothly.
But, he was always on the lookout for better opportunities. Starting a family of his own changed his focus towards building a brighter future for Brazil. It wasn’t long before Arnaldi packed his bags, and headed for Cascavel.
It was there that he formed the precursor to his ultra-successful construction business, Construtora Sial.
Getting Off The Ground
Even with his previous experience, the transition to running his own business alone wasn’t easy. It was a small business venture compared to his previous partnership, but Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi wasn’t lacking any determination to accomplish all of his lofty goals.
The first strategic decision he made was to only hire people that were dedicated team players and shared in his dream. The business concentrated on staying constantly engaged, collectively solving problems, and directly calling on expert employees for their insight.
Small Steps Forward With Big Results
In a recent interview through IdeaMensch, Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi went over the fundamentals that brought upon his massive success throughout the ’90s. As the CEO and founder of Sial Engenharia, he still follows the same principles today.
Every morning begins with an early start. He’s at the office right alongside employees and doesn’t take time off from his weekly schedule. Arnaldi believes that his dedication to being punctual is one of the core reasons his employees are always at least one year ahead with project planning.
The second step centers around prioritizing tasks. Having clear communication on logistics through all levels of workers is their key strategy. It’s meant to ensure progress each day, and address every bump along the way before it becomes an issue.
At the end of every day, Arnaldi spends his time studying long-term projects with a total concentration on problem-solving. Most of it revolves around studying similar projects from other companies and pinpointing what went wrong. That explains his solid intuition and his uncanny failure avoidance on such a large scale.

As his business progressed, Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi wasn’t satisfied with building better infrastructure. He wanted to create a better life for Brazilian citizens. Naturally, he became a role model in society and found himself serving in influential roles.
In the year 2000, he was selected as the head of the Western Parana Construction Industry Union. Arnaldi juggled his union responsibilities, managing his construction business, and taking care of his young family.
Arnaldi kept moving forward with his philanthropic dreams after spending those two crucial years presiding over the union. Those experiences propelled him towards another position in Curitiba. He chaired the State Chamber of Civil Construction there from 2003 to 2004.
By that time, his originally small construction company venture in Cascavel was well on its way to becoming one of the leading contractors in the country. In the meantime, Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi’s financial freedom allowed him to center on philanthropy and social issues. He used some of his fortunes to fund a large farm and provide food for the region.
Two Decades at the Top
In 1987, Sial Engenahria had its humble beginnings as nothing more than a young bank clerk’s idea. Two decades later, it was the driving force of progress in one of the most prosperous regions of the country. Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi finally had all of the influence and stability to dive headfirst into politics.
He had built an exceptionally strong team of leaders to help keep Sial Engenharia on top. Armando Hiroshe was brought on as Technical Director and as Arnaldi’s business partner. Having a totally independent and reliable team allowed him to serve as State Treasurer of the Social Democratic Party in Parana from 2012 to 2013.
The construction business continued to grow, and so did Brazil. It seemed like everything Arnaldi touched turned to gold. It’s no surprise that in the 2018 elections he received over 35,0000 votes for Federal Deputy of the State of Parana and remains in the substitution of the Federal Chamber.
Always Looking Towards The Future
Why do the citizens of Brazil think so highly of a small-town construction worker from Paranavai? It all comes down to his remarkable determination, faith in teamwork, and inspiring level of hope for the future of Brazil.
Sial Engenharia keeps moving forward and growing. Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi goes into the office early every morning to inspire his workers to greatness, and he still spends his evenings studying every project intently.
Even after all of his struggles, Aranaldi considers his greatest achievements in life to be the three decades of marriage shared happily with his wife and his three loving children.
