The Rise of Social Media

It is no doubt that throughout the years, social media has become a lot more popular and overall has become something to talk about. More and more people have decided to jump on board and have decided to create a Facebook account, Instagram account or even a Twitter account. Social media has become the best way to communicate with others because it is easy to access and it allows people to communicate with others around the world at any given time.

For many people, social media is a blessing well for others, including doctor Cory Harow, it is seen as a curse. There are people who enjoy spending one on one time rather than talking to another person behind a screen. However, for the majority of people they see social media as a benefit because they are able to stay in touch with close friends and family members without having to travel that distance or without having to get up in the first place.

At the beginning of this pandemic, Benjamin Cory Harow stated that social media should not take away time spent with your family. He thinks that spending good quality time with their family members during this very hard time is very important and crucial.

Most of the time, when we walk into another home we see that the majority of the family members are all in the living room but they’re not really present or they are not really connected with one another. This is usually because each of those family members either have a phone or a tablet that they are using. This can cause severe damage between the family because they are not really spending good quality time with one another. As a family, it is highly important and crucial that there are good communication skills and that everyone feels present and connected with one another. This pandemic has made many people realize the importance of spending good quality time with your family members. Unfortunately, this pandemic has brought upon us a lot of deaths and this is why a lot of people are starting to realize that the more time that you spend with your family members, the less guild and the less sorry someone will probably feel if they have a loved one who passes away.

Overall, the rise of social media is inevitable and it is something that will continue to happen throughout the next few years. It is important that we take a step back as a community and that people learn how to spend good quality time with your family members without having a screen in front of their faces every second of the day. Family time should be just as important as social media time.
